Do you think Prince ever did drugs in the past??

Just wondering...he's just kinda edgy in some of his past videos like he's high or something...

Something was wrong with him.

Remember, Narcotics cause people to loose control.
Prince loves having control

Maybe but on the other side many musicians concentrate more and focus better when they are high because it releases tension, gives a happy relaxed feeling and increases creativity. They gain control and are very confident because they are experienced and know exactly how to deal with it.

He did; according to me, the song "Anna Stesia" deals with some period of despair when he experienced extasy.

Some of his strange behaviors are due to extreme shyness...I know it's paradoxical, but I do know what I am talking about...

In the Sign O The Times liner notes he thanks,Susannah,Eric..and Coke ,is this a person whose nickname was coke or is he thanking the substance itself.
According to the DMSR he did try something as well,it was a bad experience and led to the Black Album /Lovesexy affair.

Coke Johnson was an engineer Prince worked with at Sunset Sound.

Many musicians CONCENTRATE and FOCUS BETTER when they are high? Wow, what's wrong with that statement?

Muziqmkr - there was nothing wrong with that statement! Did you read the list of all those great musicians earlier in the thread? They all did drugs and made some of the best music ever. In fact, have a look at your music collection and you will notice that most of the best music was made by people who used drugs. Hell, even Larry Graham used to do it with Sly etc.

You'd have a harder time giving me the names of great musicians/artists who didn't do drugs, than ones that do!

Prince has definitly tried a few different drugs, IMO, but then, haven't we all??!!
...we have only scratched the surface of what the mind can do...
