My friend doesn't know who Prince is. I've forced her into listening to the "Greatest Hits Collection". (I wouldn't let her out of my car) She still dosn't know who he is, so next I'm forcing her into watching Purple Rain, Graffiti Bridge (I just gotta make sure not to poke my own eyes with a fork during that), Under the Cherry Moon, etc.

I blame the parents for when their children grow up ignorant.

I have a couple I never forget. The best is when Diamonds and Pearls came out in 1991, the TV commercial (yes TV!) said it was Prince's last album since "Purple Rain". In a very deep voice.

The one that irritates me most is "so what's his name these days?"

all though Prince actually said he never had a problem with mj (look at youtube interview with chris tucker) i do agree that he didnt have to say anything at his memorial/funeral.. And that is a stupid reason not to like prince

I'm not asking her to be a die-hard fan, I just want her to know who the hell he is.

when I tell people I like Prince - they are just looking at me like I'm nuts.

They just don't seems to know he is still making music.

Their opinions : Prince used to be great.

One thing I hate about non-Prince fans is that they always try to get you to argue about whether Prince or MJ is better. Who cares??? You like MJ...I like Prince. But, I'm not gonna try and prove Prince's popularity to you.....smh
