How any1 could b alive 4 52 years and NOT have had their heart broken is beyond me.

haven't you ever listened to the lyrics of his songs? of course he's been heart-broken. every single woman he's ever encountered in his entire life has betrayed him, failed to return his advances, taken his money, and written mean articles about him

Evident from his earlier comments, songs, & history from his 2nd and 3rd album. Prince was all about heartbreaks and wanting love, and Dirty Mind was something of the same thing, but more bolder. During the Dirty Mind period, he was suffering from depression as in "Broken", and someone else stated, "Gotta Broken Heart Again"

They could easily have been written about someone else, or shock.....horror, they could be total fiction.

True, I know this. I'm just saying, it's easy to tell, by who he was, b4 and at the time these songs were written. He was gullible and wanted to be loved (who wouldn't be?), but certain attributes most likely have gotten in the way.

Remember the girl who had broke up with him becuz she was obviously insecure that many other beautiful women would be on his jock becuz he was beginning to be famous? He didn't understand and wanted her to trust him, but things didn't work out like that. Plus, ur into these songs, u can feel the emotion coming from them, especially in Dirty Mind and a good selection from Prince.

Prince's life, like all celebrities and musicians, is without flaws. To suggest otherwise would be sort of cynical, wouldn't it? I'm willing to bet the guy doesn't even poop. Don't give in to the darkness my friend.
