Anyway, last week, Julianne, one of my friends, told me a funny story about when she was in boarding school. She and her friend used to argue because she loved Gett Off and her friend loved Michael Jackson's Black and White. She asked if I had Gett Off on CD. I replied, "Yes, I have it a few times over." (D&P, The Hits/B-Sides, The Hits 2, Ultimate, Very Best Of, and 12 Inch Archives)

I took The Hits/B-Sides to Julianne's house last night and played the first disc. Another friend of mine, Emma, was there too. They loved it. They asked me to play the second disc and they loved that more. I played a few tracks off of disc 3 (Erotic City, Feel U Up, How Come You Don't Call Me Anymore, God, 17 Days, 4 The Tears in Your Eyes)

They were surprised at how many songs they knew, but never knew it was Prince singing. They have fallen in love. They asked me to bring two Prince CDs next week. So I'll oblige! I also just bought two copies of The Hits/B-Sides off of Amazon (only £4.99 each) as a little gift for each of them.

Finally, I won't be alone in the Purple Rain
