I also have gotten other freebies from buying from other fans. I've gotten free Prince books, free Prince clippings and magazines. I guess when folks decide to get rid of their Prince stuff, they like to make sure it goes to another fan.

Oh a couple of the most unusual things in my collection (which pales compared to many fans' I've met!)

- official "BRR" jacket from npg. unfortunately not one of the band ones, it's one of the ones they sold. and it looks like crap (but that's a long story).

- "calendar cube" promo item from around 1990, i think a UK WB promo item

probably most prized:

- taja sevelle cd
- madhouse 8 cd *unopened in the longbox*
- jill jones (USA) CD that miraculously still plays after being in my car cd changer for about 2 years... which is more than i can say for my...
- tracked lovesexy CD, which now doesn't really play on a few tracks due to above-mentioned situation
- all the laserdiscs (undertaker, sott, etc.) [no LD player anymore though!]
- exodus subway poster. it's HUGE (i'd say 6x4 feet), and while not really at all rare, one of my favorite images. it's orange-ish/yellow and has "kick ass band" written all over it (not literally)

There are some really, really cool promo items out and about in the world that i've either read about, or seen. I'd love to have them but no way would I pay what people are asking (for things they got for free, often.)

what i'd love to have:

- kevin smith telling his "prince story" on dvd (oh wait, i *do* have that now!!)
- been at the 1999 and PR tours!

A red rose that I got during the 1998 (28 of august) concert at the Zenith (Jam of the year tour).

I still don't know from where (and from who) it came but I enjoy thinkink that it was from Prince himself!

I have press-folders for Rave and Graffiti Bridge.

The Rave folder is white with the blue symbol on the front. Inside, there is a print of a Prince picture and a dia which has the same picture. Further, there are b&w copies of some interviews from around that time from Bass Player and Keyboard (Player) and some more. There's also an extended bio and discography. In total it's about 30 pages.

The Graffiti Bridge folder has about 10 10x8 b&w promo-pictures from the movie of Prince and The Time. All different. Further, there is the complete script to the film, a complete overview of the cast and ofcourse a bio and a discography.
The folder itself is white with the Graffiti Bridge artwork.

Those 2 are really cool and I haven't seen them around a lot.

Further I have 2 large moks from the NPG store. Both are black, one with a gold symbol, one with a gold NPG logo.

Then there are the drum-sticks signed by Micheal B, a Xenophobia water bottle, the very-extemely cool ManOwar promo CD, some 40 more promo CDs including the promo picture CDs to Lovesymbol/Diamonds & Pearls and Graffiti Bridge, the TRC lyric book, flyers to the Glam Slam club, the video from the Joffrey Ballet's Billboards.
