Thanks for saying that! Chris Rock's movie should not be used as a generalization on black hair. HIs film presented ONE aspect of the black hair care experience involving people who relax their hair and those who choose to wear weaves. Our hair texture, like our skin tone, varies. Furthermore, not all black people relax their hair and not all black women wear weaves. As far as people touching my hair when it's all perty, I absolutely love it, feels good, makes me want to sink into a coma.

i am a black woman, and YES i hate it when people touch my hair after it has been relaxed or stlyed. i don't do weaves though, because African hair (Not African-American), but African hair looks more like a weave after it has been relaxed. more volume, texture etc. thanks to our climate
