Are you talking about a demo version? I know the single version is on the B sides collection. And then there is a 12 inch version out and about. But I don't know if I've ever seen a demo version.

If you are talking about the 1982 version then no..The 1982 original recording was remixed in 1985 and giving us the version we know now

Yes, I believe so. I didn't think it was at first but apprently only Prince and Morris worked on it. It always tickled me that Prince wrote and recorded two songs named "Girl".

It's definitely not him, listen carefully, it's actually quite obvious (Prince's voice would sound a bit "higher" and would have a "clearer" sound)

Okay just re-listened to it. I agree that is not Prince on the chorus "Giiiirrrrl". It must be Morris. It sounds too "nasally" of a falsetto to be Prince. BUT that is definitely Prince harmonizing on the verses. You can hear it for sure.

U might b right on the verses (i'd have to check, i knew about the chorus from memory). Princevault credits P for "intruments" only but they can be wrong (it happens).

There was also a song titled "Girl" slated for possible inclusion on a Crystal Ball II set. It's unknown if this was an entirely different song, or a variation of a released Time/Revolution track.

Releasing WB material on NPG Records albums (and sites) mostly was a fuck off to WB in my opinion, like telling them yeah i'm using it without asking u or giving u money, so now come and sue me if u dare!
