I google searched and found "Target" sells them. Is that the big box store Target (I tried to get a job with them as a cart collector)? Sorry, I just got off a bicycle after 22 years and am a bit out of it. Can't believe Prince would use them as his cd retail sales.

he just needs to put this stuff up on itunes: like emancipation, all the npg releases like when eye lay my hands, etc.

and just put out some limited edition vinyl .....

he could definitely sell 50,000 emancipations on vinyl...

if he makes $10 a pop thats $500k..

I-Tunes is fine, but not everyone wants a bunch of mps's. It's time places like itunes offered a lossless alternative, and even then, there are still people who would prefer a physical cd/whatever.

And to be honest, i think Prince would struggle to sell 50,000 copies of any album on vinyl. Limited edition to me would be 2000 copies or less, to make them really special.

yeah, maybe 50,000 vinyls is unrealistic...

but

it is crazy... prince has been playing songs like "shhh" and "the love we make" for a while now... but really his fans cannot buy these unless they find the cd's in used cd store....

so prince gets zippo...

and prince is always the one whining about getting paid for his music, etc...

it really does NOT make sense....

everything should definitely be issued / reissued whatever on cd....

he should put the npgmc stuff out there for us too...

and man, what i would give for vinyl editions of chaos and disorder, emancipation, slaugherhouse, chocolate invasion......

when inxs filmed live baby live at wembley michael said he's lucky to make $5000 bux..he rolls his eyes saying that'll barely cover the tab for the minibar in his room....

20Ten can be found all over ebay for very little money. As for other NPG Records releases, you really are not trying very hard to find them. Try amazon, or google the album title, there are plenty of smaller indipendent retailers sell Prince cd's.

Try amazon in different countries too, i often buy from ebay/amazon USA and i live in the UK.

This is a good place to find out of print stuff http://www.madhousemusic.co.uk/main.htm they can be pricey, but they are not the most expensive, and it depends how badly you want the cd's.

They will ship to anywhere in the world too.

Getting an ebay account really is a good start, there are currently just under 2000 Prince/related cd's on ebay UK right now. And if they don't have the particular cd you are after, just wait, and keep checking every couple of days, you will soon find the ones you want.

^^^ Placing a wanted ad in the marketplace forum of this site might be a good idea too.

I have doubles/more of nearly every Prince item i own, i'm sure other people may have spare cd's they might be willing to sell.
