All of the studio albums with the exception of, Sign O' The Times , Musicology, 3121 and Planet Earth. I have The Scandalous Sex Suite and The Beautiful Experience. Also have the Prince & 94 East stuff. Those are the cd's I own but in terms of my general Prince collection I have the 1999 7" single, Jill Jones 12", the Hits & B-Sides VHS, 3 Chains O' Gold VHS (my father found both VHS tapes in like the trash or something), Purple Rain DVD, Sign O' The Times DVD and Live at The Aladdin Las Vegas DVD.

Mind you, this time last year all I had in terms of cd's was Prince, Around The World in a Day, Come and the 94 East double disc.

I have most of them except for The Black Album, Crystal Ball, Come, and a few others.

I also want 94 East! Where do u find it?

And to the original poster, you have a good collection so far but you have to get the PRINCE (self-titled) album. It's one of my personal faves anyways... That would be my number 1 recommendation to get.

Yeah, there's bigger, but some here have been collecting for a looong time, as stated in this thread already. If you have started colecting fairly recently, I must say you have got some cool finds already, congrats! As someone said here before, with the low official output these days and digital availability of things there isn't much really to collect anymore, so you have a good chance of filling up that purple room yourself soon. Back in the days, it was at some times almost impossible to keep up with all the official different releases (lots of different pressings and such) and bootlegs coming out! Impossible financially as well Tough choices had to be made sometimes... Anyway enjoy! Collecting is a fun hobby by itself, and if it's about music you are passionate about, it can be especially rewarding to find that thing you were looking for - as I am sure you know already!

Thanks! Yeah, I'm glad the long standing high value of some of these items had went down over the past couple of years, so it gives me a chance to collect more within my price range. Since I only get EX-NM vinyl and never spend anything over $15 on one album/single, so I guess I'm lucky with what I have so far I have to take trips to Chicago from Indy 2 get 2 the good record shops

However, it does break my heart when I c longtime Prince fans part with their whole collections becuz hard times are surfacing... Choices need 2 b made though. Feed the kids tonight or tell them to hold a record?

All of them. Its a sickness really. I have all of the protege albums as well (including the CDs of The Family and Apollonia from Japan).

I remember when I used to lay out all my stuff across the living room, cause my bedroom wasn't big enough.

Unfortunately now, half of it is in storage somewhere in the garage.

Poor cassettes, vhs, boots, tshirts, mags, books and posters have all been put away.
