I love this clip! The fact alone that all three of these legends are on the stage at once is very cool.
Prince definately seems to be on something but he clearly impresses JB when he starts playing some funky stuff on the guitar, however he then proceeds to act, shall we say, eccentric. The glove coming right back at him is a trip! All in all, I like the fact that Prince is so obviously more punky than MJ, however his lack of respect for JB upon getting to the stage is in bad taste.
Anyone notice how much bigger P was back then?

Prince was drunk, thats why he seemed unfocused.Im suprised nobody knew that, that was all over the news at that time.

Then I suppose Prince was drunk when he did the American Bandstand performance as well? Nah, I think he was just trying to be freaky. He was certainly playing out his freaky-mysterious persona during those days.

I actually heard a rumor that P was high on coke. I very much doubt this, but you never know. All & all it was wonderful seeing JB bring onstage the 2 artists whom he's had the most influence on.
