Well, I'm not completely blind to things that are going on in this world. I know Prince has a great view of it also where he is and likes to reveal things to his fans...well, those that are capable of looking outside the box. Which is what it takes to even be a diehard fan of his, just listen to his music, that is some deep stuff. I told my sis about the pic references, she totally sees it. First thing she said was "go to the music, that's where the messages always are." Where he has played this year, the 20Ten album itself, all of it..Prince never ceases to amaze me!

Nothing to be "close-minded" about. This concert series was to help the "Harlem Children's Zone" and in part due to Prince's association with Bill Canada, who was in the "Waiting for Superman" film regarding a lottery system, which is used for children hoping to get into charter schools. The fact that our public system is failing, and parents desperately trying to get the best education for kids, outside the public school system. Unfortunately only a few kids will get the chance to get into the charter schools, because there's not enough of those schools.

At the end of this East Coast tour, the "gold guitar" will be auctioned off to benefit the "Harlem Children's Zone". You should have read up on this when Prince announced the W2A concert series, at the Apollo Press conference.

The NYC backdrop was probably used because Prince is performing at MSG which is based in "midtown" Manhattan, and just 2 to 3 blocks, away from the Empire State Bldg. Matter of fact, a silhouette of midtown Manhattan, with the Empire State Building in the middle, is on the back of the tour book at the bottom of the cover. Secondly, once again. The Twin Towers was nowhere near the Empire State Blding. The Twin Towers was based in downtown Manhattan. I used to work in both towers when it existed so I know this. In the pic, Prince's hand holding on to the guitar belt, is all that is-- Prince holding on to the guitar belt. Nothing to do with the 9/11 Twin Towers attack.

Besides, if you want to reference the "9/11" attacks in NYC, you should have used the backslash, because right now it appears in the heading of your thread, that you are referencing the New York Police Dept emergency number, which is "911", for NYC residents to call in case of emergencies.
