I'm good with symbolism and metaphor, but I'm not a conspiracy theorist in the least. So I definitely don't read too far between the lines. Who knows..you could be on to something. I have wondered since he announced it, why it was called "Welcome 2 America." Add that to the pic references, and now my mind is working overtime! Prince is definately sly and can say things without saying them. I think I need to look at this from a different perspective. Perhaps look at the dates/songs chosen... What could Prince be trying to tell us? Let's not forget that cryptic W2A announcement...!

... believe me i love prince since 84 i know all about his mind games and mysteriousness and he is a human being like no other... my first concert was purple rain tour i was 5.. i am now 31 and i have his symbol tattooed on my left wrist .. i just thought that everybody was really over thinking it.. i could be wrong

I have complete faith in Prince's ability to make a statment. He has done so many times before. But I also believe that if he was truly trying say "wake the fuck up!" that he would make a MUCH stronger statement than this silly picture. The giant poster of him standing in front of the Controversy album cover is a stronger statement (barely). This is just a picture.
