I was surfing the net and found this interview, I found it to be a interesting read, even though there are quite a few typos.

Interesting to compare what about Prince is the same since that interview took place, and what about him seems to have changed or evolved. And when Prince was describing his father, it was interesting to note how alike those two men are/were, musically speaking. It was like Prince was describing himself sometimes when he spoke of his dad.

Just remember that Prince used to do a lot of lying in his interviews back then.

It's really an interesting read... Prince really said a lot, I only wonder how much of it is what he really thought.

It strikes me as sounding very frank and honest, but I wonder if it is genuine as he doesnt normally put so much detail in his I/Vs. Anyone got any proof or coroboration that its real?

You know, I actually think I owned that article when it was first printed. I used to buy EVERY magazine with Prince's face on the cover. I might be wrong but, I think the cover of that issue of Musician was an illustrated pic of Prince. (Gosh, I'd love to confirm that.)
