In my opinion, the William Orbit double A-side remixes of Electric Chair and The Future (Euro CD-Single) are much better - beat-wise - than the LP tracks. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

that remix of The Future proved how much better could be with the right producer, it took the track to another level.

Yeah, squirrel and funkhead have said it all really. The remixes are great. I see copies on ebay from time to time for reasonable prices.

The CD pic DigitalGardener posted has both Electric Chair and The Future remixes on it. I don't know of any other CD that has The Future remixed. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

I completely agree. Completely generic. To me sealed the deal and that signaled the end of the B-sides. I absolutely loathe the William Obit works, and all the generic house and club mixes. Made Princes music seem so stale and run of the mill. I guess his foreshadowed the lameness of his generic 90's works.

I would love to have the extended version of this song and the Batman movie version of EC and Vicki Waiting.
