To piggy-back on everyone else's comments, they're right -- almost all of them are great in their own way. Personally, I would have to give the nod to Mountains, because of Alexa De Paris. Prince almost outdid himself on that instrumental. Positively lovely.
I also always liked the B-side Scarlet Pussy because the label on the vinyl was simply black, and I could never figure out the correct speed -- I thought it sounded cool both at 33 1/3 and at 45...It wasn't until The Hits set came out that I finally determined what was the correct speed. | |
