It's playing here right now. One of funnest, weirdest, most interesting songs on Graffiti Bridge, and it's not in the movie (I mean, it sort of is, but not really, you know what I mean).

I'm not saying this song would have saved the film (no WAY I'm saying that!), but... we're made to watch Tevin Campbell dancing around for twenty minutes, while this goofy gem of a tune gets swept under the rug?

it was originally supposed to be along with a battle of the latest fashion with both groups. i have a boot with orginal cuts for the movie. a different version of tevin's round and round...a hangman scene, a super long extended cut to thieves in the temple. too bad alot of the footage s quite bad quality....

I wish they had included it, because the music in the film is my favorite part of the movie, other than Prince's good looks and rocking outfits.

the barn sex scene was briefly shown in the movie trailer, i think.

you need to read the original script, entitled "dreams". it's out there on the interwebz, i remember reading it before. It's a LOT darker than what was eventually made. There's even incest scenes with The Kid and his Mom, lol. And the father dies at the end.

Albert Magnoli filmed a second love scene that was not included in the final cut of the film. This scene has special meaning because it contains the actual illusion of the purple rain. A snippet of this scene is included in the theatrical trailer for the film as well as the When Doves Cry montage. This scene, as well as the other deleted footage that led up to it, is also outlined in the film's screenplay found on various websites. It is rumored that this second love scene almost earned the film an X-rating although it's unclear as to whether this scene was actually included in early edits of the film or actually submitted to the MPAA. This legendary piece of footage has never been released commercially in its entirety.

Scenes of Wendy and Lisa kissing, suggesting a relationship were deleted from the final version.

The ending of "Can't Stop This Feeling I Got" is one of the dopest endings to any Prince song.

Overall, the original unreleased version is way better though. Check the "Box O' Chocolates" boot for the best version of circulating.
