I saw, Glady's Knight at a jazz festival this year. And the show was done, there was a group of people down front still cheering loudly after the lights came on and the band left. People were heading out in droves and then she came back out and the band followed and did a huge version of I Will Survive. I don't how many people didn't make it back in to see though. There was about 10 min betwen her leaving and coming back

wednesday the 15th was FAR from sold out

and this was probably the reason the 14th was cancelled

The Izod is not the greatest Venue

plus as BIG SHOWS go this was "last minute" as far as ADVANCED SALES

AND its SMACK in the middle of the HOLIDAY season

AND it was on a WEDNESDAY

AND he had SHOWS U could C in the NEARBY Garden

(the most famous venue on earth)

All these reason lead 2 poor ticket sales

Wednesday the 14th had 2 giant BLACK CURTAINS covering the upper tiers

PLUS they had ticket tables at the entrance set up 2 Xchange the cheap seats 4 BETTER seats

and STILL there were MANY empty seats

Eye would GUESS this show was only 60-70% SOLD

Friday the 17th was SOLD out or CLOSE 2 it

in fact if Wednesday never happened we would just ASSUME it was SOLD OUT

the reason U C all those "Empty Seats" in some pictures is simple

Prince CAME BACK 4 HIS SECOND ENCORE WITH ALL THE HOUSE LIGHTS ON

HE does this on purpose - 4 fun and 2 get rid of the "fakers"

DO NOT LEAVE UNTIL THE CREW STARTS 2 BREAK DOWN THE STAGE

it does not matter WHAT LIGHTS R ON or 4 HOW LONG

AS LONG AS THE GEAR IS STILL IN TACT he MIGHT come back

so he left 4 the ARENA 2 begin 2 CLEAR OUT b4 he came back and then did the

SLOW JAM ENCORE with all the light on and MANY PEOPLE ALREADY GONE!

SAT the 18th MSG SOLD OUT CASE CLOSED

thats awesome!! I enjoyed the shows as well, the 2nd much more than the 1st lol i just hate that the sound wasnt right.....but not Prince's fault!!

I also hate that IZOD charges $20 for parking that is crazy!!!!!!!!!

What empty seats? How do you know if any of the kids from that Harlem group wasn't there? I saw parents with kids from 3yrs to teenagers at that show. MSG was jam packed. Don't be fooled by the pic that a fan took of MSG on 12/18, when people were just being let into the show and in the process of going to their seats. Bottom line...MSG was jam-packed on 12/18.

MSG is a venue with no dedicated parking, IZOD has HUGE parking lots dedicated to the venue, they should NOT be charging for parking and if they do it should only be $5

i went to redds b4 the izod shows and they said for $10 you can leave your car here and we have a shuttle we are running....too bad ficktyt didn't know i got vip parking thru the website! he suggested the place!
