Dear Powersoul... the photographer is a professional photographer by trade, ergo I guess he wants acknowledgement. I am not a photographer, the pics just ended up in my mailbox today for which I am very grateful and I wanted to share.

I agree silos63. To add to that, he wore heels the previous night at the IZOD Center 12/17/10 performance. Heck, my feet were in dire need of epsom salt after wearing my 4.5 in. heeled boots to the concerts 2 nights in a row, and all I was doing was walking (and dancing at my seat, of course)! After he performed in those heels on 12/17 (and his IZOD show was longer BTW), he probably just couldn't do it for 12/18. Like you said, it made no difference. He was on fire both nights.

Actually, most professionals do just that. If you have the paid physical copy of the picture, you will not see the name across the photo. However, if you received a preview copy before purchase of the picture, the photographer name will be visible if you try to scan or make copies of their work. That is standard procedures of a person trying to make a living.

The pictures aren't the best, however, some of the comments on here seem quite catty considering that all the original poster wanted to do was sure their experience and favorite pics of Prince.

whether or not they're up to your standards... I completely understand why the person who took those pics did that... because people seem to have no problem reposting the pics without attribution to the source.

In my mind if I'm sharing a picture, it's for people to enjoy, to re-live the memory, to get a sense of what happened for those who weren't there. It's NOT for them to swipe them, package them, and/or then re-present them as their own.

Thank you for sharing these photos. They are awesome and well appreciated. He may be able to dance easier and better in the sneakers than the heels. I like both looks. These sneakers do make him look kinda fresher and more modern though. Didnt he wear them back in the musicology promo days on his much music performance. I think he did so it really isnt a new thing.

Yeah, it's like people don't think twice about a painter signing their work and they don't have to worry about it being stolen/re-used so easily.

And I got this to say I like Shelby J's voice and all but whatever happened to Prince and his good looking women. I'm sure he could've found a good looking black woman that could sing as well.
