It wouldn't be cost-effective... I realize this.

Why wouldn't it? If it would be just Prince, his piano and guitar and he would sell a thousand tickets per show for $100 per ticket, wouldn't that be enough? Would it really have to be $300, 400 or 500?

Bruce Springsteen did something really cool this year. At selected shows, he would choose an album and play it all the way through, front to back.

He didn't play every album he's ever recorded but he did most of them. And the crowd loved it.

id like 2 c prince do that lol

LLA

In addition to several of the great suggestions already made by others on this thread, I would like to hear the following songs (this is not an official "set list" or order of songs, just some that I would love to hear him perform):

Joy in Repetition (already suggested by Dalia11--this would be at the top of my list)

Somebody's Somebody

The Greatest Romance That's Ever Been Sold

Come On

Pretty Man

Cream (a slower version with the guitar--he did this at a previous concert, and it was great)

Head (okay--maybe it's a bit much to suggest this one, but perhaps an abbreviated version, or at least just the instrumental wink )

Plus some of the other great suggestions that have already been listed by other on this thread, including but not limited to the following:

Housequake

Thieves in the Temple

Sign O' the Times

Anotherloverholenyohead

Black Sweat

Gold

Something in the Water (Does Not Compute)
