jazz fusion perfoMance/when was it recorded?

what do you think of Prince's jazz licks on keyboard?

p.s.

Some people claim that Wendy and Lisa and Eric Leeds introduces Prince to Jazz

well this instrumentals were much before Wendy and Lisa

I think you mean the Loring Park recordings.

They were recorded by Prince, Andre Cymone and Bobby Z in 1977 at Owen Husney's Loring Park office.

I really can't hear jazz on these recordings, i hear more funk than jazz. They do sound jazzy i suppose.

I love these instrumentals...I just wish I knew the names of the tracks....I think these tracks are a little more jazzy than some of his other earlier stuff.cool cool
