IS Gotta Stop Messin' About an outtake?
If it is, well it knocks me on my ass everytime I hear it. Love it.
And Feel You Up!
Outtakes would be songs that didn't make an album or official release. Outtake is also a term for bootleg, etc but when you think bootleg, you think complete bootleg album.
Hmm ... Thanks for the 'break-down'. I usually just call em 'UnReleased Gems' |

Back to the original question (if I understand it correctly):
Good Man - it only gradually dawned on me how fantastic this is.
Baby You're a Trip - always liked it, but its greatness only recently occurred to me.
Empty Room - because I only knew the piano version till recently I never realised what this track was capable of.
In a Large Room with No Light - the complexity prevented me from enjoying it as much as I do now.

Ahhh! I'm right there with you on Good Man and Baby You're A Trip. Those tracks, I initially blew off. But Good Man slowly became one of those songs that I always turn to anytime I want to hear that '88-'90 vibe. Awesome song (especially when compared to other material of that time like Your Love Is So Hard).

Not a bad song to compare it to (good man to your love is so hard). They have sort of the same vibe, but Good Man just really grows with each listen. Whereas the other on just don't make me want to revisit. |
