Will the Welcome to America Tour actually tour the rest of the US?

I'm out in the barren heartlands of America and I would love to see Prince again since I hadn't seen a show of his since 1998. Has anyone heard of any plans to expand his tour to more than just NY and NJ?

No plans yet. But it's most certain that this is the start of a U.S. tour. I'm sure u will be seeing Prince again in a city near u. Stay tuned..... wink

Prince did an interview with a woman at Record World. They talked about whatever, then he asked her: "Does your pubic hair go up to your navel?" At that moment, we thought maybe we shouldn't encourage him to do interviews.

I hope so, because I really want to see him. Either I have to run across a money truck or he has to come nearer

Yes, at 19, I finally saw the Revolution, a legendary band. And I talked to Wendy!!! biggrin In addition to seeing Prince, I have now lived life. Thank you Purple People!!

He better not skip Loosy-anna! I moved here not too long ago and if I see SoCal dates and no Loosy-anna dayes, imma kic YSelf in the ass.

I still think he should get a place Down in Nerw Orleans for a couple of month and play with the players down here....get things loose and messy like a mudbug boil.

Theres A LOT of great"under the radar" performers down here and I'm SURE he'd have a lot of fun with all the informalities

My thought on this when he first announced the NY area shows was that there is no reason for him to work with Live Nation if it wasn't going to be at least a small tour. Now I'm not so sure. Seems like there would have been something in the wind by now if he was working on setting up more dates across the country. I hope so for all those who are jonesin', though.

Well, this is Prince we're talking about so he can change his mind at any time... lol A local radio station in California announced weeks ago that "the Prince tour is headed our way" but I haven't heard any more about it since then. Which is why I'm headed for New York! cool

Sure... neutral

It would be cool if he went to good ole' Minni-apple or the Chi, whereas I could make it up there easily

I totally agree. I am a native born and bred Mississippian and my first show was ONA in New Orleans. His love of jazz and such could really prosper in the Big Easy. I go from time to time and it is always a unique experience. If anybody is lucky enough to go to this city you gotta try the hand grenade. One of the best drinks I have ever had. Not a Mardi Gras fan though. Too many crazies.
