Thank you for pointing out the obvious!! When you part and curl, if you don't fluff back together, you will see spots like this!! Some folks don't know these things since they don't have experience with it... It has NOTHING to do with balding, everyone, regardless of age, can have those.

Um no....when your hair is parted it due to a curl it does not show this much skin....if it does, you have a bald spot. It doesn't automatically mean you're going bald...baldness can happen due to damage as well.

Either way, that's skin and that's a bald spot - not a normal part.

Well, I've just seen similar spots on women as well. Patchy hair loss can occur due to many different reasons (stress for one), but I've just never personally seen anyone start balding at that spot.

Not that I want to get in any heated debate whether or not Prince is going bald. I've been arguing in favour of him balding since '96.

Both right i think. However people keep going on about his baldness but my take is more about thinning. It would be strange to go bald in your late 40s and 50s has been suggested about Prince-it is more a late 20's 30's thing (as I well know personally) if it's gonna happen. He's definetely on top of keeping his hairline from showing any gray, but the entire head? Naw... he needs a touch up and gray roots only have to grow out in 3 weeks time... almost 1/2 and inch to look like its balding. Gray roots are very unforgiving that way

Prince is really gray now! I wonder if he'll ever let us see his natural hair color.

He still looks good, but his hair is probably going the same route as his dad's...thinning. I hope when it gets to the point of really thinning out drastically, he will let it go gracefully. Nothing more ridiculous than a old man trying to look young. I would love to see what he looks like with salt and pepper.

I think that spot is just an area where the hair hasn't been combed over it. I have an area in my scalp like that. I wear my hair very short, and there's one little spot in the back (a kind of "part") where I comb my hair over to cover it.

Who gives a flying Eff about his hair and what nots! Prolly looks better than more than half of you MFs! I'm just saying though

Wow, that was awesome. And what a gentleman... I love how nice he was to give up his gloves to Sherri, then see Whoopi tell her to give them back, like she was a little kid. And i didn't know Justin Bieber spoke so highly of Prince. That was cool. I won't buy his album, but the younger stars need to give props to Prince and his ground breaking music.

That said. What a great moment. I could tell how excited the audience was...not to mention Sherri was creamin' so bad, she almost slid off her seat.

I just watched it again, and if you watch Sherri's face when he sits down next to her. Wow, she is about to pass out. She's not breathing, her eyes are rolling... that was priceless.

But, I care about Prince's hair since he is such a fashion plate, its part of the interest! His style is always exciting and fun to follow. Prince loves to be seen and I love seeing him in all his

I loved it. Prince did what he does best. Came in the room, had everyone going crazy, and left them all wanting more.

Agree with you and others on this thread who contend this. Prince's hair is short and the way it's styled, combined with the extremely bright lights on the set, are going to create spots where scalp is more easily visible.
