Prince WITHOUT guest performers please... So I'm kinda over all the guest appearances and background singers on lead vocals at concerts recently. Even if Prince can't belt them out like he used to, I'd much rather see a show where he just played instrumentals every other song. I remember seeing him in L.A. where he didn't sing a note all night and it was still amazing! Same goes for you Carlos.

he needs to do a Gemini tour that has 2 nights of shows. 1 night the hits 1 night with more obscure songs. "Keep on shilling for Big Pharm!"

You're preaching to the choir as far as this subject goes. As much as I want Prince happy & presenting the show/music/projects he wants, I've always been focused on Prince. You can dress it and hype it and all that, but in the end it's Prince alone on that chocolate bar and that's all I want. The more I see of him and the more the others just back him up, the more I like it. Not that they're not worthy talents. I just want the pure...uncut high that is Prince. I'm firmly planted in denial

A series of gigs/tour where Prince and band only performed instrumental material would be a dream come true for me.

May our prayers and wishes be answered!!! Yes, at 19, I finally saw the Revolution, a legendary band. And I talked to Wendy!!! In addition to seeing Prince, I have now lived life. Thank you Purple People!!

that feeds well into my idea of several nights each one targeted at different kinds of admirers. He could sell multi night tickets to those that wanted it all. or one show at a time. Even include smaller venues *like a club* for the real freaks. I love the hits but I really would rather hear more of the songs he has not done very often. "Keep on shilling for Big Pharm!"

He already does this. It's called an aftershow. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

naww. those are too few and far between, and less show and more party. and then so many cities have laws forcing them to close at 2am that they hardly get started befor they end. "Keep on shilling for Big Pharm!"

the guest performance stuff he's got planned is a dire idea really.. but one of his whimsies. i'm glad he's getting it out his system in the states! ha!
