I just got into work. I work @ a hotel. My Director of Operations manager told me that ALOT of people from separate locations, Laguardia Airport, JFK Airport, Staten Island have requested 12/18 off. Its so much that he wrote on our schedule's : "We are doing our best to accommodate everyone's schedule's." I told him to let me know who, so that we can ALL party together!!!!

why would i need to know when a concert 1500 miles away from me is?

Because you are a prince fan!! And because usually when he announces a tour people generally research the dates, and cities he will play in. Did'nt you see that when ticket master posted dates? you had to cause u know he's not playing in yours.. Just sayin..

When the European dates were announced, I glanced at them but didn't really take note of them because I live in the US.

Being a Prince fan doesn't mean we know every single thing that happens...

It doesn't matter. If he/she lives 1500 miles away, it was probably like the European shows: "Oh NJ & NYC? Oh well..."

I stand by my statement: it is not a requirement to know all dates to be a fan.

I live in Texas. I am not going to nyc to see him again. I would not miss him if he was in my kitchen but I may not be willing to pay for tickets and nothing behind the 4th or 5th row. (being front row 3 times and 2nd and 3rd once apace makes anything less hard)

I don't blame you, I wouldn't like anything after the first 3 rows either. My first concert Musicology, was 5 fows from the stage. The tickets I have for madison Square Garden is in section after VIP tables, maybe 10 rows. I'll alomst be eye level w/stage, hopefully not much looking up and hurting my neck.

I am a huge prince fan, probably been one longer than the original OP, but I dont know the exact dates of the shows because I live in Nebraska... I cant get to those shows so why should I burn the dates into my memory?? Thats just kinda odd...

I thought he announced the dates first, then venue.

They got you going nuts at that hotel, girlie. I think most people just knew the shows were going to be in NYC and NJ. Honestly, if you asked me what city in NJ the IZOD was located I couldn't tell you because I'm not going to NJ to see Prince or anyone else for that matter. The only reason I even know the dates for the NJ shows is because they are (or were rather) 3 back to back dates before the first MSG show. The only reason I even know what cities he toured in Europe is by seeing the postings on this forum. I wouldn't travel long distances to see Prince because of his history of cancelling shows at the last minute. Airfare is way too expensive...if I can't drive there or take some form of cheaper transportation, I'm not going. Nice to see you posting...finally. Took you long enough.
