There was a boy named Camille

Camille started looking for answers
His paintbrush the questioner,
his canvas the arena,
Camille set out to silence his critics.

His strokes are tepid,
his colors are meek."

So Camille found a new color.
The color black:
strongest hue of them all.
He painted a picture
called Le Grind --
hittin' so tall.
And then Cindy C --
THE vogue fantasy.

Stroke after stroke callin' all others a joke.

Camille rocked hard in a funky place. Stuck his long
funk in competition's face. Tuesday came. Blue Tuesday.
His canvas full, and lying on the table, Camille mustered
all the hate that he was able. Hate 4 the ones who ever

It's amazing how each album Prince reinvented his whole style; as versatile in this as in his music.

Lovely era the Lovesexy one. Firstly, coz of the polkadots!

I really need to find these individual songs coz on my cd, they're all
"stickied like glue" so I don't play it and I do love that cd!

Cats outfits also, dig them all! Great dancer she was. Really funky.

Love it, I love the SOTT set up more though, you could see all the band, but he was wild-er during the Lovesexy time, almost as wild as Purple Rain

It truly is Prince's best tour I don't think he will ever be able to top that tour.

Nice pic. I've never seen it before.

The reason I don't like Dance on, OFFS is because the chorus, lyrics and verse don’t blend enough for me and it feels as if the vibes keep being interrupted.

But then I wish u heaven – my favourite on the album, is just a little piece of paradise wrapped up in luscious lyrics and ribbons of syncopation.

"if I say 11, you can say it’s 7” my favourite line on the whole album. Such unconditional love. I'd say 11 then just became I'm allowed to say 7.
