The only interview I know of that he did live in 2009 was with his friend Tavis. He did not sit with either Ellen or Jay despite liking them. I think there are a whole lot of questions that Prince does not want to be asked that a decent interviewer would have to ask him and he knows that. He can fudge with a written interview like the one he did for Ebony but he can't pull that crap live. Either the interviewer calls him on it or they let it slide and look like a pushover in the process.

Plus, what would Oprah say about chemtrails etc I don't think Oprah, who is not the best interviewer IMO, would just let that crazy shit just slide on by without a and a and we all know Prince doesn't want that

I thought the Larry King interview he did some time back was pretty good. Some of the questions seemed juvenile but, when I thought it out, they were good questions, or one would think. We all know our man is a little 'off-center'. LoL

The entire (minus musical performances) Oprah interview and several other tv interviews were available on a dvd called Purple Doves - The Interviews.

It was of course not an official release, but amazon UK were selling this for about a year, which is where i bought my copy. I'm not sure if it is still available.

But failing that, as Shorty pointed out, youtube is probably your best bet.

have you tried looking on youtube? I just did a quick search of "prince on oprah 96" and came up with a few vids.

As far as any appearances on Oprah, will not/if happen until mid 2011 4 sure! I wouldn't hold my breath on any xclusive per4mance compared 2 his last appearance on Oprah. This based on past xperience of his previous tour promos: Note, Prince has not hit da media circuits 4 his current tour promo on Letterman...etc.

Prince hates letterman and hasnt performed there in a looong time.

Oprah Winfrey doing excersize to the Emancipation title track........

Prince needs to stay as far away from Oprah as possible
