All-time, I think it might be none. Nearly all of my very favorite songs are jazz or electronic music of one kind or another and they don't have any vocals. But if I limited it to all-time songs with vocals he might make it... mmm... probably not. Maybe in the top twenty, though.

I've actually never been a huge fan of DMSR. I like it, but it's not a favorite Prince song. Automatic I love, but it wouldn't be near my top ten favorite songs of all time.

I havent made any such list but i think She's Always in my hair, When Doves Cry, If I was your girlfriend and erotic city and little red corvette. Well atleast three of those would make my top 10. Prince is the best.

Yes. And I spent quite a lot of time in the last year deleting a lot of the ones I knew I would NEVER, EVER listen to.

I probably won't either. I'm an admitted MP3 hoarder. It started out many years ago as just finding the rare stuff that I'd been looking for. Then it morphed into converting what I actually own so I don't have to play my physical copies. Then it became huge folder for each genre of music, followed by an uncontrollable urge to download every track ever released by any artist that I really love. Plus, I'm kind of a music geek. I'm constantly on the hunt for anything knew that frosts my pickle (like the Pomplamoose thread). When I find something new I may not listen to it for very long, but when I get an urge to go back to it, there it is! I tell people that I listen to something new almost every day, but I don't think they believe me. I do regularly plop the entire jazz, classical or electronic folders in the WMP and hit random, though. And I ABSOLUTELY have favorite artists and songs that I go back to more than others.

Well at LEAST 7 of the 10, I would say. The only other songs that I can think of that come close to the greatness of Prince songs are... Speechless and Give In To Me by MJ and When You Love Someone by Bryan Adams. Those are the ones that instantly to mind. I would have to give it some serious thought.

But I cannot honestly say I have heard ever any songs that I like more than... Electric Intercourse, Purple Rain, Call My Name, Adore, Do Me Baby, Kiss, Somebody's Somebody. I mean these songs are played on constant repeat, I just love them soooo much. It would take a hell of a song to even match these songs, much less surpass them. And that's just the tip of the iceberg with Prince songs I really, really love.
