To ME, these r all fan's music. TRC is definately NOT 4 your average taste in ones experience with princes music however. neither is sott & adore. or housequake. the 1st 3 however r very well known among prnce ppl. i dont know many familiar with the others. Adore gets much play on urban radio, so many non fans love this song. It should have been a single ,but even thought it wasn't it still to this day get much respect in the black community. so yeah many non fan adores adore. I have made many cd's for people and they want this song many times on it. | |

it's not that...it just seems like all the folks 'round here dig "wdc" and crap. u gotta hunt 4 folks who love the other stuff nowadays...  My 42 year old white mama LOVES LRC (not Prince tho) and she was singing it in the car the other day with no prompt. DAMN! Personally . I agree with "Sometimes It Snows In April". A non-fan I know heard the track whilst waiting for me to leave the house one day and they really got into it. I was surprised as its quite soppy, ramshackle and sung from the point of view of Mary Sharon.
"When You Were Mine" seems to turn non-fans on too when they hear it. As for the truly ignorant, most people will say "Purple Rain". | |

I don't know anyone and I'm not exaggerating, who doesn't like When Doves Cry. For that matter, they all tend to like anything off of Purple Rain. I've known lots of non-fans who like:
