I have a question for Prince audio experts. I saw a Lovesexy Japanese SHM-CD on Ebay and considered bidding on it since I heard that the sound was better than the regular U.S. release, which I am not satisfied with it (compared to the warm vinyl sound and volume). But after reading on previous org threads and other sites that the SHM releases may not be much better than the originals I decided against it. I also read on org threads that the Lovesexy Japan CD pressing may have better sound quality than either the U.S. release or the Japanese SHM-CD version. Well, later today I went to Amoeba records and spotted a Lovesexy Japan CD (not SHM) for $6.99 so I snapped it up. I am listening to it now and it does seem to have improved audio quality as well as louder sound. What do the resident org experts think about the Japanese Lovesexy CD as far as improvement in volume and sound quality goes?
