Prince's publicist for signed pics? Hi fellow Prince lovers, Does anyone have information on who Prince's publicist is/contact info so that I may write them? I'd love to get a signed pic for my mother in law/myself! Peace to all, GivenchyLover

moderatorGive it a try, put your return info on there including your phone # and email, and whatever happens, happens. If you're sending anything to anyone to get signed, write a letter, include a return envelope with postage, and include your email and phone number. And send it certified.
Instead of just asking for an autograph, write a letter. Keep in mind that whoever gets his mail will read his mail, and it might stop there. Or they might send it up. Never know.
Then forget about it, because it could be 1 year, 2 years ,or never as far as a response goes. But then again, there might be a whole stack of publicity photos that they have on hand.
Most entertainers are divided about signing autographs. In this case, elusive, but people have met him and he has signed autographs. And just the same, he's bolting past fans and gotten out of there. Their publicist/personal assistant usually is told what to do regarding fanmail, requests, charities, you're the baby daddy, etc.
But when you go on Ebay or a memorabilia store, it can be upsetting to see what might be a flat out forgery that some fan is going to pay thousands of dollars for. It's amazing what a flat piece of plastic like a guitar guard can affect the price on a guitar once it's signed.
I think the odds of demos getting listened to are less than getting an autograph, because songwriters don't want potential lawsuits. Record labels have returned demos sent through the mail.

Everytime i've written Prince I got a surprise response back that was well worth it....  will ALWAYS think of  like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that wasn't of this earth, would not have been that surprised. R.I.P. |
