"Good Dick And A Job"---does this song really exist? In 1994/95,I heard about an unreleased Prince song called "Good Dick And A Job".Does anyone have any info on it? I don't think it's circulating on any bootlegs, and I haven't heard anyone ever talk about it.Does it even exist?

Speaking of songs that do or do not exist, is there an outtake out there called "Mr. Dopeman" or something similar? A friend of a friend of mine who she claims is all into the underground Prince scene said he downloaded a track with this title a while ago, but it was mistakenly deleted, and he's trying to track it down. I don't think I've heard of it, and I usually have heard of every outtake out there, but this one doesn't ring a bell. Could it be a fake, something with a different name, or is this guy not just sure of what he's talking about?

I personally started a rumour 5 years ago about an unnamed
album containing, amongst others the following tracks Cabride in Caïro The Bust Stand up, Step back Two days ago, a friend of mine emailed me, stating that he had just gotten 'secret' hush hush news on a new Prince cd with exactly these three song titles, fleshed out with a few others -[also fake fcuz]. You just can't get rid of these fake tracks anymore. Once the titles have circulated long enough people will start believing they exist. Even if the titles really suck and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

People put up all kinds of fakes. I was once dumb enough to even download "Wally" the famous obscure outtake that no one has ever every heard. Fcuz, when I played it, it was just a loop saying "Got cha you fucking ass". I had to laugh at myself for thinking "Wally" might actually be circulating. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

Well apparently, this guy claims this is an actual song but just lost it from his HD. So, I don't know, but I'm thinking it's a fake, like a clone or wannabe sounding MF!!

not thinking of the dopamine rush suite are you? That's what I first thought too, but apparently that's the title that she says her friend said it was called. Oh well. I'm satisfied with knowing there's nothing really out there called Mr. Dopeman. I was pretty sure of that before, but I'm even more sure of it now. Thanks!

I think "good dick and a job" is line from the very real bootleg track "Good man."

I don't know, but some women may say that is what they look for in a man.

Prince said in an online chat that "R U Ready?" is a Larry Graham song. Never heard it though, except for the intro. -SWANGneedssomequickrelief

Bogus songs are a problem on Kazaa. I thought I had a boot called "Black MF" & that shit is a Tom Petty song, something about dragging his heart around - WTF??
That's what I get for d/l'ing. Another one was When Doves Cry - live. That's some folk sounding guys doing it acoustic...

According to Uptown, Michael Bland confirmed
that 'Good Dick & A Job' does indeed exist. ...but there have been numerous fake song titles kicking around ever since Prince bootlegs first appeared. I remember the old Purple Rain double acetate fake tracklist from back in the day, with tracks like "My Special World", "2 Late Darling", "2 Many 2 Soon", "Jamming Til' The Dawn" & "The Loser In Life".
