Any love for The Future Just rediscovered this on Saturday and I really love it! Love the funky bass intro and atmospheric keyboard line. Not a big fan of the album overall (except Electric Chair and Scandalous) but The Future is cool!

I've liked the Batman soundtrack from the get go and even like the Batdance video which is creative imo. Lots of love from me for "The Future" as well as "Electric Chair" which kicks serious a**.

Always loved this one, it fits the Batman darkness
the vibe and music is very similar to the Line, probably made around the same time

That William Orbit pair of remixes of The Future and Electric Chair are killer. Love 'em. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

One of Prince's most underrated tracks in a career teeming with them. Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016

Funny how he actually saw the future, but he acted like a jerk, anyway. Funny, indeed
I prefer the remix, anyway. On top of that, the "Who are you??? I'm Batman" dialogue turns the song into a '89 dated relic

yes they are, those are some sublime remixes. wish he would have let orbit do some more. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

Yep - totally under rated!!
Love it!
Shut up already, damn. | |

Does he use the theme from Hart to Hart in this track? sounds similar.

One of the questions I would most like to ask Prince is how he came to use the quote from Lincoln Steffens. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

One of his best, also Electric Chair !!!
He opened the Nude-tour with The Future and it was a top10 hit in The Netherlands and got a lot of airplay in Belgium (don't know if it got in the charts).
And I'll say it again, I love this kinda of solid sound..one thing I miss these days (in music in general). Love4oneanother

One of my favorite parts is the "Whoa!" he says towards the end. Prince should perform this song more often.

Lots of love here too. "Free URself, B the best that U can B, 3rd Apartment from the Sun, nothing left to fear" Prince Rogers Nelson - Forever in my Life -

It was a Europe-only release, with a remix of Electric Chair as the b-side.

Every once in a while a place like FYE or your local CD collectors' specialty store will have one in stock. Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016
