There is an unreleased song called "Miss You."

Prince moved into a house in France Avenue in Edina in the summer of 1978.

Demos were recorded here in '78 and '79.

Miss You was one of them.

Miss You, is titled "I Miss You" on Work It 2.0, however, in The Vault book it is titled "Miss You."

Yes, ones i know are circulating are..

Baby, Baby, Baby.

Donna

Down A Long Lonely Road.

Nadeara.

There are six instrumental tracks too but they are very short.

There may be more songs from that period in circulation, but these are the ones i know of.

They are on Work It 2.0 Vol 1 disc 3.

Haven't heard some of these songs, but am curious as to what they sound like. Especially the track, "I Met A Virgin Queen". giggle

Are the others as worth chasing up as Miss You (which I think is awesome)?

You may like the sound of the others, it has the same sort of quality, Donna is a little like Miss You, a nice little ballad with just Prince and an acoustic guitar (and Prince himself on some backing vocals).

I especially like Wouldn't you love to love me?

If you start out with Work It 2.0 Volume 1 and its 6 CDs (the must-have full set mentioned by DigitalGardener contains 34 discs), you'll get all of the circulating early recordings in lossless and in the best possible quality so far (actually Box O Chocolates trumps several of the Work It 2.0 tracks, so get that one too).
