Fan Clubs usually have fundraisers and shit to get them for their favorite stars.

Cause we don't already hand over enough of our cash in their honor.

How about raise that money and give it to a charity, at least.

Surprisingly,Madonna doesn't have one either.She's against the idea of a star on the Walk of Fame.

I am sure it was said but not only does someone have to pay big bucks to get it but the star has to agree to appear at the ceremony, and I do not see Prince doing that. (but I never though he would insult himself. his music, and his fans by going on a show like american idol.)

Anyone can submit the name, just go to the website, fill out the form, and send it in.

There is a big fee for sponsoring it, and it has to be done with the inductee's consent. Of course it's prob. their personal assistant, and they try to tie it into a promotion going on. And it's tax deductable, so enough said on the reason why someone would drop 30K... it's good publicity. P has spent more than that on one music video the public will never get to see.

Los Angeles in itself is like P's home away from home, he did most of his early recordings there, had a club there, and did a lot of work there... the time that they should've done the star was when he did the night at Staples Center/Nokia.

I doubt whether Prince would accept a nom 4 this, He isn't in the game 4 the awards & has said so many times! Ive seen his reaction in interviews 2 compliments on his musical talents & he starts shuffling his feet & goes all shy & gushy! Awards where he is up against other artists he's fine because the result isn't known but since this "star" needs his permission 4 acceptance i think he would just ask, "Why?. Don't i have enough tokens of recognition?"
