I find it odd that the fine print is actually on the shirt itself.

I c. I think its a generic Live Nation & co. email. it doesnt necessarly mean that EVERY artist will provide downloads, and considering Prince's latest interview, it's unlikely that he will. But since the news won't spread here if it happens, i'll create an account anyway, just in case.
