Come remix

I'm trying to find Come remix and the lyrics to the song. I like it when he says something referencing to when he hits the spot he puts a smile on your face. I already found possessed which I had a hard time finding as well. This is another favorite of mine, especially, when it gets nasty towards the end. lol

Come (#2)

Version #2 of "Come" was a reworking of the demo aired before the Los Angeles Act Iconcert on April 16, 1993. Prince re-recorded the lead vocal and added several musical embellishments, as well as a chorus. The song has a very "live" feel to it and was presented in the "interactive musical" Glam Slam Ulysses. Unfortunately the musical split the song into segments, so a full recording of this version is not circulating. An edit which contains the beginning and end of the song exists in better quality, but is missing some of the lyrics.

Come (#2)

(Come) {repeat in song}

This is the dawning of the new spiritual revolution

CHORUS:
Come - U should do that, baby - no more will U cry
Come - The spirit's calling, here's the reason why
Come - If U had a chance 2 see the future, would U try?
Come - If U will, so will I

When I call U up, I wanna tell U what 2 wear
Don't be surprised if I tell U 2 go bare
Long as U wash between your soul and through your hair
The feelin' will be there

CHORUS

It don't mean U're wrecked cuz U kiss in a restaurant
It don't mean U're wrecked just cuz me tallywhacker suckin' is all U want
All it means is that the one that come before me never made U come

CHORUS

Come {x2}
U should do that, baby
Come {x2}

Sticks and stones will bug my phones and say that I mislead
I don't think so, maybe U should come with me
Maybe U should wrap your legs around my neck 4 awhile
And we'll see if I can make U smile

I'll do my very best 2 get U in the mood {x2}
Cry 4 little titty, wanna tell U just how U will ever come
The time hangs 4 me 2 get real

Ah ah! Do that, baby! {x7}
Do that!

Like a splendid, open-ended, celibate friend pretendin'
Not 2 know it when I blow it in your eyes
Like a strawberry, chocolate, fender jazz, mashed potato fuzztone
All over your thighs
That's the only come I know when I'm deep inside that... yeah!
That's the only time, the only time U go:
"Oh baby, U're so good" {x2}
Aw, shut up!
This is just so U...
Come {x2}
U should do that, baby

(Come) {repeat till end}

{segue into Endorphinmachine}

Come (#3)

Prince aired a demo of this song at the Los Angeles Act I concert on April 16, 1993. It was reworked for the "interactive musical" Glam Slam Ulysses. This version utilizes a hypnotic drum beat while the lyrics evolved to include spiritual overtones. Prince re-recorded the song once again for his 1994 Come album.

COMMENT

This is not music, this is a trip! Not strictly an outtakes set as it contains released material mixed with remixes, outtakes, alternate versions, and a little live. Not a remix set, not an outtake set, and not a collection of released material. I'll tell you what we'll classify this as : the best bootleg of 2005, bitches. The majority of material contained on here spans the 1993-1995 era, although it contains a smattering from a few other era's. The tracks flow together seamlessly and flawlessly and the result is one of the finest releases you'll ever hear. Each disc runs at 70 minutes, and I really cannot conceive anyone finding fault throughout the entire duration of this - it's continuous sequence of tracks is perfection....and then some. The above tracklisting is really more of an overview as almost every track has been edited and pulled apart to include either a portion from an alternate version, a remix, orn alternate remixeach track Miof material bd. I often praise releases, and admittedly they may not be to everyone's tastes, but this to create a continuous collection of Prince at his funkiestAll mixed flawlessly together to create a continuousthere are obvious exceptions (with a little culled formas the majority of tracks here are very Where to begin with this release? An excellent collection of material from the 1993-1995 period. The person responsible has successfully managed to edit together released material flawlessly with alternate versions/outtakes with amazing results. I believe there are 1 or 2 versions of this set circulating, however the final configuration should include the alternate 'Outtakes 1993-1994' tracks, and clock in at around 70 minutes per disc (give or take a couple of seconds). Disc 1 contains probably the finest moment on the entire set with 'Days Of Wild'. The heavy guitar solo (originally released on NPGMC Ahdio Show February 2001) has been added to the Crystal Ball version of D.O.W - it really has to be heard to be appreciated. Pussy Control is a funky remix containing both the 'Control Tempo' and 'House Mix' versions. Peach segues into Chaos & Disorder and is very similar to the live versions played at the time. 'Acknowledge Me' has been mixed in with 'The Good Life' (Big City Remix) superbly, and 'The Ride' is a combination of 'The Undertaker' version and the released 'Crystal Ball' track. TheDataBank.org does not recommend or endorse bootleg releases, however if I did - I would give this the thumbs up........but I can't. It's hard not to be amazed by the sheer quality of the material and the professionalism of the editing - a truly excellent fan release.

Digital Funk Bitch has a 16+ minute version of Come on it's DFB08 Come 1958-1993 boot. I think that's a fan made remix, though - right?

The techno, club, and house style I'm used to is not what he does and it sounds weird when he does it.

Come Remix

Remix (likely several) made Summer, 1994

About the song

Come is the first track on Prince's fifteenth album Come. In 1993, an earlier recording of Come was included in the Glam Slam Ulysses stage-show, during the segment titled "The Trojan Horse" (credited, as was the whole project, to ). In 1994, four months before the album's release, the studio promotional video of Come (using yet another recording of the track) was included in The Beautiful Experience TV movie (again credited, as was the whole project, to ).
Initial tracking took place on 2 January, 1993 at Paisley Park Studios, Chanhassen, MN, USA (during the same one-day session that producedDark, Dolphin and Endorphinmachine). This version has no repeated chorus, and sounds more like a jam than a fully-finished song. It was played over the PA before the 16 April, 1993, Universal Amphitheatre, Universal City, CA, USA show. The version used in Glam Slam Ulysseswas recorded at some point between April and August, 1993 (most likely during the May, 1993 sessions at Paisley Park Studios focusing on the Glam Slam Ulysses show and the planned Come musical). Come was planned as the second track on the Papa EP, planned for release onPrince's birthday, 7 June, 1993, but later abandoned. It is not clear when the versions used in The Beautiful Experience was recorded, but it is likely this was recorded in late 1993 or early 1994 at Paisley Park Studios. At this point, was working on The Dawn, and Come was planned for inclusion. It was also planned for inclusion on an early version of The Beautiful Experience EP (before the EP was turned into a simple maxi-single for The Most Beautiful Girl In The World). Strangely, when abandoned The Dawn, the track was not included on the configuration of Come dated 11 March, 1994, but when Warner Bros. asked for Prince to include the title track, he recorded yet another version, in mid-April, 1994 (horn overdubs were recorded on 17 April, 1994. A configuration of Come from April-May, 1994 includes two versions of Come (although the versions are unknown). A planned "Live" single from 1994 also included Come as the opening track, segueing (as the track often did in live settings) into Endorphinmachine. In Summer, 1994, worked on various remixes of the track for a planned Come EP, details of which are not known, but this EP was known to include 18 & Over. While 18 & Over clearly derives from Come, it should be considered a separate track, and receives a separate song entry (see 18 & Over for details).
The track titled Come (Poem) on a promo single titled Come is, in fact, a longer version of the track Orgasm, and is discussed on that song's entry.
