Theres a reason this song stayed in the Vault,and it sounds very dated than the songs that were released around the time "Dont Say u love me" was recorded. "7" and "Insatiable" sound more fresher than this lame track. | |

I don't get why you are hating on this cute little track "Don't Say U Love Me"..... I had a boot with Prince's versions on, the title escapes me..... I have always liked this song.
Maybe you don't like sweet pop music...? I like this track "Don't Say U Love Me" - as well as I like "Manic Monday", "Nothing Compares 2 U", "Diamonds & Pearls", "Most Beautiful Girl..." etc. etc....
I guess you guys hate those songs too and only like the harder Funk/rock tracks?

i like all the martika tracks. they're just fun. not for a prince album, you're right.

Totally agree! I love this song, obviously not everyone will, but im partial 2 Prince pop songs a good catchy melody will get me every time! And this has plenty of groove! Prince once tried 2 change his name 2 a symbol so that ur'e mother couldn't find him in the phonebook!
