I think

• the album cover sucks
• it looks just like the kind of think MJ would like to hang over his chimney, so I'm going to guess it's a painting he commissioned, Prince symbol including
• I'll leave the more subtle/absurd interpretations over to the rest of you

Edit: Also, I'm quite excited by the new album, and even more by the Vision short film box set. w0000t!

Eh, this is a Prince music forum, maybe you could ask these qusetions in another forum.

Really strange, weird & bizarre. I don't know what 2 think of it, is Prince given any credit on the album? If not then i can't see any reason 4 the symbol 2 be there, if nothing else it certainly looks out of place!!!!!!! Never i thought i'd see Prince's symbol on a MJ album! The cover kinda reminds me of the Dangerous cover, same kind of theme. Interesting 2 what others orgers think ! C'mon guys help shed some light on this!

really weird. I dont know what they are trying to do, its not like they need some sort of controversy to sell the album its going to sell millions anyway

This'll get locked cause my original thread got locked. The artist explained that the cover signifies important moments and people in MJ's life and career.

I'm assuming the old 80's rivalry and Prince being his perceived competition is the real reason it's there. It's a nice nod i think.

Prince can try and sue for copyright and trademark infringement and make money from MJ's album

Interesting.....I think it's cool! Not sure why it's there but there has to be a reason! Maybe they did do some work together or maybe he was just a fan and decided to put it in before he passed? I don't see any good coming for suing or complaining that it's on the cover by Prince at all......I would be proud that it's on there if I were Prince. I can't wait to find out why it's there though!
