On the Peach & Black Podcast, Prince says everytime he goes and talks to Warners there is a new "Ceo and/or President of Warners. Wonder if he keeps going and finally talks to the 'Right New Prez' that well give him ALL of his masters? What do you think would happen?

I feel the r jerking him around and everytime he's goes back there will always b someone new and they will keep it up until 2014 because the r making making money! So as long as they r making money he'll keep getting jerked around!

I see that also. But he has a way to go before he owns all that Warner owns.

as if any past, present, or future Warner Bros. president is sitting in on meetings like this. there are about 15 tiers of VP's and lawyers that handle this kind of business.

Prince never should've re-signed with Warners for the big payout, and should've held out for the master tapes.

Arlo Guthrie parted with WB in the mid 80s because the record company told him that they didn't like the material, but agreed to put it out. He said "let's just part ways". In a few years' time, he was able to get his back catalog.

WB is getting their piece of the MP3s, but he still gets a check from it.

Prince should just buy them out.

Ahh but Prince didn't care about the master tapes until he was no longer getting the advances/money upfront... Hmmm, much like today. It's all about the $$$$.
