When Prince played Kiss in Forum, Copenhagen 20. October 2010, he did not play his guitar, nor did anyone in his band, I believe. Is Kiss played live with guitar overdub these days?

"Kiss" will never be retired as long as he keeps performing in bigger venues than high school auditoriums. It's a singalong staple and he's not dropping that.

I'm trying to think if I saw anyone playing.... Maybe Ida(isn't that the Danish girl's name?) played? IDK, I wasn't focusing on the band too much, my eyes were glued to Prince and his little crazy dancing! lol I honestly haven't seen him play the guitar lately during Kiss. Often times before he didn't play either though..

If I ever saw a Prince concert and Purple Rain wasn't included, I'd feel cheated. It's his biggest song and most popular. That's the one EVERYBODY knows. That and Kiss. If he didn't do these songs, I'd be a little sad, I love them both, Kiss for Prince's dancing on there (and oh how I LOVED it at the Herning show in Denmark ) and his guitar solo on Purple Rain is just amazing to hear always. The only guitar solos of his that I enjoy as much(meaning I never get tired of hearing them) are the ones on The Question of You and Shhh.

idk only song i'm sick of is purple rain. he's got 1000s of songs! although i seen pearl jam 4 times and i'm pissed i only got to hear jeremy once! but purple rain to me is like freak on a leash and got the life at a korn concert. every friggin show. if your more then just a casual fan and have all of someones cds...yes u wanna hear the hits but you wanna hear some of the bsides and less known stuff too!!

at least too hes not just playing all new stuff either. my dad saw the stones after the put a new cd out. ok play one or two but i wanna hear some of the song that made you famous or at least off the cds that did!

shit u can never win...consider myself lucky i got to see jon from korn solo singing his songs from the QUEEN OIF THE DAMNED movie

I see what you're saying about PR. I agree, seeing him do a show of say 1/2 hits and 1/2 new stuff would be ideal. Let me dance my butt off to the old stuff, and let me dance my butt off to the new stuff. I have to say, I want more ballads!! We only got Shhhh...he said at Herning that "she wants to hear Nothing Compares 2 U, but there are more than just ladies at this show. Maybe later. We gonna get funky right now." I was like Noooooooo, I want a ballad or 2!!! Anywho, its just awesome being there, Prince is the best live performer ever!!! I love it when it's just him and his guitar/piano. Can't wait until December!!!!!!!!!

really his most popular? ever hear of when doves cry? and i take it u don't have a lot of live concerts and hear purple rain over and over and over nad over again sounding the same each time
