No, since they usually are judging on the few "hits" they've heard. It's my opportunity to school them through music. I'm still surprised at how many people say "I didn't know he was that good" or something similar.

I did one time when this guy who thought he was hot shit said he could sing better than prince and I know for a fact he couldn't, and then he said the prince concert was boring that was the last straw. He is no longer welcome at my house.

I must admit...I do take it personal, especially when they say stuff like "Prince has no talent" or "his songs suck." That is just WRONG!!! And most of them have not even listened to him so how can you criticize him. The man is a genius and has the best lot of songs I've ever heard. Musical tastes aside, Prince has an amazing body of work! And its all his creative genius for the most part.

So when someone criticizes him, they are in essence criticizing me for choosing his as the greatest musician and someone to be a fan of for so long. And I don't take to kindly to that. Fine, don't like Prince, but don't dare criticize him (or MJ) in my presence! May be the the last time I talk to you! Especially if you start attacking Prince the man personally!! Music is one thing, but to criticize his looks or personality, nope, not flying with me! Don't care who you are!
