Cathy Dennis wrote this song. Prince has never wrote anything for Kylie - not that we know of anyway.

I'm pretty sure they got together in Monaco during the World Music Awards i think in 1994 - u know the pictures of him with the lollipop and the cover of Q Mag...

There is this photo of Kylie & P coming out of his hotel at 4am both with these bloodshot eyes and Kylie just that look on her face...well i'm sure u all know 'that' look!!!

I do believe he contacted her with some songs he had written especially for her - she turned them down as she thought they were too seedy/dirty for her image - (this was quite some time ago, just as she was starting her michael hutchance phase)...

... oh yeah, she did call him "Sex on a Stick" - I have a magazine called Sky magazine from way back (no longer published) with Prince on the cover and Sex on a Stick written across the cover photo and the article inside refers to various quotes made by various artists/pop stars etc

Hopefully despite Kylie's recent moderate success in the USA, she will stay away from any American chart sounds on her new LP.

I don't think I have anything to worry about, but I would hate to see her pander to the current dire state of USA chart music.

Her work with Fischerspooner is a nice start - Although I prefer other artists in the "electroclas" field, Fischerspooner seem to be getting the most publicity.

Let's hope some Black artists wak up from this R&B/Hip-Pop sleep and start utilizing electroclash themes, it would be nice to see some electro-funk back in the charts.

this article has the details of how kylie & prince met, and the song that they worked on together (Baby Doll) - so it does sound like it's in existence, would love to hear it, let's hope it does make it onto an outtake CD of hers
