Truth behind The Sacrifice of the Victor

What truth is there to the lyrics of The Sacrifice of the Victor? It's written as though it is autobiographical, yet I haven't seen those details in any Prince bios.

Some of the lyrics:

"I was born on a blood stained table

Cord wrapped around my neck
Epilectic til the age of 7"

"1967 in a bus marked public schools
Rode me and a group of unsuspecting political tools"

Sounds believable, but are they true?

Thanks!

Well he did go to public schools and presumably rode the school bus and is referring to politicians using black people for votes. He mentioned his early epilepsy in 2009 as well.

For a minute there I thought you was going to reveal where I keep the bodies.

.

..

...

On-topic though, I wondered if there was any truth from the lyrics. Especially when the name change was happening, a lot of people thought it would 'Victor'.

What it is?!?!

Interesting. Where did he mention epilepsy?

Interesting. Where did he mention epilepsy?

He talked about it during the interview with Tavis Smiley last year.

Papa

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

MLK was killed when Prince was 9... now it's not impossible, but unlikely that he and all his friends were getting high and drunk at 9 and actively participated in any rioting.

He was referring to being "Bused". In the 1960s a lot of innercity black kids were bused to suburban "white schools" in an effort to give them a better education and promote diversity.
