I believe this was from the Herning concert, before the announcement was made about Sheila...and unfortunately I suspect this thread comes closer to revealing the truth than anything else I've seen.
I wonder if Sheila brings out something in Prince that he's spent years trying to suppress?
Time will tell, I suppose...and I do hope I'm wrong, and it was just a business decision (change of setlist, finance, etc...)

That's a good point...and one that thankfully pretty much throws my theory out the window.

It's from the Herning concert last week. Apparently Prince did about three songs wearing an open shirt and a had a distinct "return to form" vibe going on according to most reports.
The link is from ET and is the only official footage (that I know of) in the public domain - it shows him performing part of Controversy in said open shirt.
There's a very nice photo in this thread in the Concerts forum (scroll down a bit for the best one), no video though of course.
