Oh looke here, Prince did an interview before the Antwerp gig. Guess what he said?

- He FIRST wants to release 20ten in Europe "regularly". (No idea which company would be dumb enough to invest in this, unless it is the "deluxe" edition -- note that Prince didn't say a word about the "deluxe" edition in this interview

- Next he MIGHT start looking at getting it out in the US, but it was crystal clear the plans for that are even more flaky than for the Euro release.

He mentioned giving it out after a gig, or releasing it after a tour (to break the "release album - tour" cycle -- sweet jebus, the dude is DUMB). He mentioned cooperating with a chain of stores.

So let's see:

- ZILCH support for your claims;

- 100% confirmation what I have been saying: this is Prince, and even stuff that's announced officially has failed to materialize. Right now the release of 20ten (where/how/when) is nothing more than a vague notion in his mind. Anyone who claims that there are concrete plans is BULSHITTING.

Nothing is ever certain with P, is it?

This summer there have been so many rumours about him giving concerts in venues in Holland. I do believe there have been negotiations, because I know the people who told me about it don't lie to me. And in the end he decided very last minute to attend Geldredome. I don't think the people who told me he might play at other gigs and dates were trying to be nasty to me. They just didn't know P his attitude

P himself never stated anything official about an afterconcert, however, Paradiso cancelled their program for that evening, based on his promise to ALMOST certain come and play after his Geldredome concert.

He called them that night at 1, that he was not going to play at Paradiso. Nevermind the consequences for Paradiso cancelling the programmed night at the last minute. In the end they opened up their doors for free.

Paradiso was the first venue outside the US where P played. It is a non-profit concert hall and they are known for giving unknown bands a stage, in order to support them in their musical career. And so they did for Prince back in the days and he was programmed before he was the famous artist he became. And this time around, they even would cancel a programmed night, last minute, serving him and his fans, even agreeing to not receiving anything for the tickets. And he just cancelled. He wasn't up for it. I really think a synpathetic venue like Paradiso, allways fighting for musicians to have a stage and be heard, deserve more respect than P showed them.

I imagine his point of view being: "I was tired, I did not promise it 100% officially, so they knew I could resign any moment I wanted, so they should not complain about it". And what does he care, his fans will follow him anyway (I still do)

So guys, stop the peeing contest. Don't fight eachother, because P is the unreliable one here. He's the one laughing out loud about our frustrations and your fights.

Have been happy that Maceo Parker, Larry Graham, George Clinton were not to tired for Paradiso this year
