Ok, you got me, I am feeling the call to pull it back out again and give it a listen. For me, I had it in pretty heavy rotation at first, but like most of the newer stuff there hasn't been anything there to make me want to come back. I have had such a hard time tying to put my finger on why I am not pulled in by any of the newer stuff. Probably since TRC, nothing has really held my interest for lack of a better term but thanks for the idea of revisiting 3121

Can't believe it's the first time I've ever opened the booklet. What a stunning home! Only the painting above the couch in Fury is not big enough. I love the colours, but I can't make out exactly what it is. Onto the music...

3121 - Funky intro. But the high pitch sounds in the song and the chorus is why I don't listen to it. I like the verses. I don't know what sounds those are at 3.33 to 2.39 but I like them but this song just doesn't touch me.

Lolita- Went onto my ipod at first but after multiple listens I took it off. Just my feelings towards rap.

Te amo corazon - Who can't like this one? The lyrics, music and flow are like a bubble bath. Matches with the Incense and candles photo. Video was perfect.

Black Sweat - High pitch sounds again, my ears can't take it, it makes me nervous.

Incense and Candles - I listened to this one so much I killed it a bit. This kind of R&B is perfect. Vocal harmony, lyrics all good. Rap in the middle also fits.

Love - Didn't make it to my ipod. But the accoustic version is D-I-V-I-N-E! Guess I just like the more simple versions.

Satisfied - Isn't this why so many girls love Prince's music? Those sultry, seductive, funky velvet love songs that speak to your mind. Perfect this one.

Fury - I honestly didn't like this at first listen, the guitar was too much. I then saw it on youtube somewhere and live it was different. Dug it out again and never looked back. Great for dancing and for the right mood. It's probably sacrilegious to split Prince's music from various cds, but my own playlists work better for me.

The Word - This was a love/hate experience for me at first. Such a glorious first 1.40 minutes and then it went weird. It would not fit my expectations. Maybe the previous tracks influenced it for me with unwelcome sounds returning. But when I listened to it on its own, it grew and grew on me and now one of my favourites.

Beautiful loved and Blessed - another smooth Prince tune. Lyrics and vocals beg for repeated listening. Guess I like R&B after all.

The Dance - a masterpiece I think. I wish I heard more Prince music in movies. Sometimes just one song is such a journey in itself. An atmosphere tune that speaks volumes in a few minutes. Amazing piece of work.

Get on the Boat - funky, funky and needs multiple listens to appreciate all the musical elements. Great percussion.

Love this album! The picture booklet inspired me 2 get creative, i now have handmade cushions,wall hangings & a door plaque 2 compliment the Prince theme. My entire bedroom is my soul sanctuary! I love chillin' in my room so calm & peaceful!
