I was wondering about a Prince Facebook page, is there any belonging to Him?

Do you think that Prince should have his own pages?

As Lenny Kravitz, it works really well for him, his videos are posted, fans really feel they communicate and make part of a whole..and that is really cool

I wonder what you think of that?

No. Any facebook pages you see purporting to be Prince were made by morons.

You probably won't be the least bit surprised to hear that yes it has indeed been discussed here, many, many times. So often in fact, that about 3 posts (or less) after mine some clever dick is going to post that flogging a dead horse emoticon.

As to posting links - you didn't even do a search, did you?

This is going to take longer to type than it would to just do the search and post the links for you, but.... If you type facebook into the search box (that's the little white rectangle on the top right of the page, with 'search' written next to it) you'll find that 2 of the top 3 results are links to other discussions on this topic.

Prince would not wish to affiliate himself with what he believes the internet has become. 'Pornography, child molesters' etc.

That's one thing I find annoying on FB. Why are you tagging celebrities in your pictures?

Not Prince's style - he can't control every last piece of it, and he can't directly profit from it, so what's the point.

it's worked well for vin diesel...15 million people and only time people can post is to what he writes. they can't tag him to photos somehow either.

but prince is a control freak and i'm sure he'd find some people with the setting...and of course, no money made..though he could promote up the ass through it for free and make money...austin brown is doing a damn good job of that

Didn't he use to have a page on there when facebook first started? I'm sure he did but I could be wrong. I'm kinda the same, I use to use it don't anymore got rid of it, find it too intrusive and personal same with Twitter. I dont blame Prince for not using any of them either imo.

prince and the internet are going through a very nasty divorce at the moment.

the internet wanted more than prince was willing to give during the course of their relationship so alas, they have parted ways.

prince lashed out at his estranged partner stating that 'the internet is dead'. but that's ok. we understand what it's like to lose a loved one.

only time will tell if the divorce becomes final or whether they will patch up their differences.

in the meantime, both the internet, and prince, appear to be doing quite well without each other.

not all matches are made in heaven. let us pray.

Yes, I guess I could have, but it wouldn't have been appropriate. Questions were asked, I decided to answer them. I'm generally not affronted or overcome with rage when a topic that's been discussed before appears again. But it seems I came across that way (at least to you), which was not my intention (apologies ganesh if you took it that way too, the bit about the search engine was just a bit of lame humour), so if I were going to use emoticons it would've been more apporpriate for me to include one of these - or one of these -
