The Hits/The B-Sides and Come.

I'm glad u wrote about The Hits/The B-Sides & Come 2 of my favs. For me, Come was the musical turning point 4 P - a new sound. Love the song, Space.

Come is a great album, and I don't understand why it had not been more appreciated in its time.

Just take songs like the title track, Pheromone, Loose, Papa, Dark and all the versions of the song you mentioned, Space.

Be it! Taking a risk is always an adventure.

First, thanks again for your feedback, and thanks for reading.

I think that doing things with passion is the key for everything good. To have success in the charts you have to compromise up to a certain point, and that diminishes your vision.

First I give you the links:

http://prince.org/msg/7/343732 - Prince: 20 Ten - About Opening Doors

http://prince.org/msg/7/312792 - Prince: LOtUSFLOW3R - Acts I, II & III

Thank you for the links. I haven't had time yet to read through your reviews of those two albums entirely, but will still do so because I like how you express your feelings for Prince's music.

And yes, I think what makes Prince so unique - and an exceptional live performer, especially - is that he puts his heart into his music. Many other artists do as well, of course, but a lot of them also always have chart success as a goal, which Prince obviously does not care much about any longer. And why should he, he already has enough old hits. It does not matter that they are from the 80s and 90s, because his music is still magnificent even if it's not found on any charts!

while i have criticised prince for his lack of quality control, i am very glad to see such enthusiasm and appreciation of prince's music. I enjoyed your reviews regardless, beautiiful experience. Its true he's had some amazing work over the past 15 years and he certainly deserves more credit for that.
