Nice soundcheck So the great news is it sounds fantastic - could be soundboard, I'm not sure. But after about a half hour I got bored and wondered, is Prince even on this? For me, mildly interesting, great sound, but musically not so useful. Has anyone listened to all of it and can comment? Ok, at first i was not sure what you were talking about I'm only half way through, but i agree with you the sound is fantastic, if this is not a soundboard then it is as close to one as i have heard. The first half of this (almost 15 or so tracks) are very choppy, very short instrumental takes on some well known tunes, though if it were not for having the tracklist in front of me i would have had trouble naming a few of them. Prince finally can be heard on Purple Rain and Shhh#2. The following tracks are much longer but not much easier to listen to. I'm a big fan of soundcheck boots, i find them to be a fascinating insight. There are more cohesive soundcheck's out there, but for sound quality alone i would rate this quite high. Nice to have it in FLAC too.

There's also an improved version of the Nice 90 soundcheck doing the rounds. Eye obviously didn't care to remove the horrible distortion, so someone else did. Busy doin' something close to nothing | |

This is a great insight to how soundchecks are done. Having done many myself, it was cool to hear this. They're not meant to be entertaining to those who are listening. Although I found it nice to hear the progression of the different musicians coming in as the songs progressed. It would have been nice to hear complete run through of songs, but it is what it is. The quality of the recording is really fantastic! U might not like the taste, but I'm still going to stick your face in this Funk | |

Nice 90 is great. Some great guitar work on it. Very tasty.
